Janie Irons, PhD

Janie Irons is a licensed clinical psychologist who recently joined Dr. Lewis Weber and Associates from a position as an attending psychologist in neuropsychology with the University of Virginia's Department of Neurosurgery. She joins the practice with extensive experience in cognitive, neuropsychological, educational, and personality assessment with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Irons not only specializes in the assessment and diagnosis of individuals with exceptionalities such as a learning disability, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and gifted potential, but she also provides counseling to address the social and emotional concerns that are a frequent consequence of these conditions. She has particular interest in working with chronically Ill children or adults and their caregivers as well as individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injury.
